A Different Approach
When you've done everything "right" and still feel stuck.
Many people come to therapy having done everything "right." They have developed self-awareness, learned coping skills, read the books, and worked hard to create change. Yet despite their efforts, they continue to feel stuck in familiar emotional patterns.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) offers a different approach. By combining physician-supervised ketamine treatment with intentional therapeutic support, KAP may help create new opportunities for insight, emotional processing, and meaningful change. Research shows ketamine promotes neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to form new connections — while psychotherapy helps translate those experiences into lasting growth.
At Your Room, ketamine is not viewed as a stand-alone treatment. Rather, it serves as one component of a comprehensive therapeutic process designed to support healing of the mind, body, and nervous system.

The Challenge
Why traditional approaches sometimes aren't enough.
Stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and burnout can create deeply ingrained patterns within the brain and nervous system. Even when we understand these patterns intellectually, they can remain difficult to change.
Ketamine may temporarily soften rigid thought patterns and increase psychological flexibility — allowing individuals to access emotions, perspectives, and experiences that may be difficult to reach through traditional talk therapy alone. This can create a unique opportunity for deeper therapeutic work and personal insight.

The Process
How ketamine-assisted psychotherapy works.
KAP combines the neurobiological effects of ketamine with the depth and guidance of psychotherapy.
During treatment, ketamine creates a temporary altered state of consciousness that many people describe as expansive, reflective, or deeply introspective. Within this experience, longstanding emotional patterns may be viewed from a new perspective.
Therapy helps provide structure, meaning, and integration before and after the ketamine experience. Together, these elements can support emotional healing, self-discovery, and lasting change.
The Your Room Experience
Safe, supported, and cared for.
We believe healing happens best when people feel safe, supported, and cared for. Every aspect of the experience has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm and restorative environment. Your experience may include:
Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, our goal is to help you reconnect with your inner resources, values, relationships, and capacity for growth.
Who It Helps
Who may benefit.
A comprehensive evaluation is completed to determine whether treatment is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

What to Expect
What treatment day looks like.
Treatment sessions are conducted under the supervision of a licensed physician in a carefully designed, private therapeutic setting. Many clients choose to rest comfortably with an eye mask, blanket, and curated music while allowing the experience to unfold naturally.
The ketamine experience itself typically lasts 45 to 60 minutes, followed by a recovery period of about an hour, before returning home with a designated driver.
While every experience is unique, many describe a greater sense of perspective, emotional openness and vulnerability, and connection to themselves and their lives.
Integration
Where change takes root.
The ketamine experience is only one part of the process. Some of the most meaningful work occurs afterward.
Integration sessions help transform insights gained during treatment into practical changes in everyday life. Together, we explore themes that emerged, identify opportunities for growth, and create pathways for lasting transformation.
At Your Room, we believe integration is where insight becomes action and healing becomes sustainable. We find the best time to integrate is often after your session — but no more than 72 hours after your experience.
